collate Honda insight To Toyota Prius

Honda is going to start giving Toyota's Prius a run for its money. The Prius has long been the best-selling hybrid car in North America, but Honda is hoping to change that with an as-yet-to-be-named hybrid-only model (update - it's called the Insight, again). Hybrid-only models are cars such as the Prius or Honda's earlier attempt, the Insight, which are offered only in hybrid form, not accepted fuel.

Hybrid fans have been eagerly anticipating the Paris Motor Show in October 2008 to learn more about this car, along with the name (still the Insight), but the announcement may come even sooner. Speculations had been made that the insight name might be revived, but current rumors dispel this (or not). Will it be the Honda Green or maybe the Honda Eco? Nope...In Sight!

The new Honda hybrid insight will likely have a similar fabricate to the hydrogen Fcx Clarity (pictured above) or the Toyota Prius, but it will be larger while still remaining in the sub-compact category. A few speculations about fabricate are already being made. The car will be a five-door, five-passenger vehicle with the hybrid components tucked under the rear hatchback area, to offer more interior cargo room. One of the best fabricate features of this new hybrid, currently being called the "small hybrid" by Honda spokespeople, is the reported estimated mileage - upwards of 60 Mpg.

The biggest distinction from the Prius? Price. The Honda insight will come in around ,500 - while the Prius starts around ,500. Manufacture the car more accessible for younger buyers is a strategy Honda is well hoping pays off.

This announcement is counter to a rumor that had been swirling in hybrid circles for months: that Honda's next foray into hybrid cars would be a hybrid version of the popular economy compact, the Fit. However, the auto giant denied that saying that the Fit got great fuel economy as is, so it would be best to offer buyers something a little separate for the time being.

Honda has an annual yield target of 200,000, with half of that being sold in North America. Their overall sales goal for hybrids is to be selling 500,000 by 2012, about 10% of its total sales volume. The "small hybrid" is just a small piece of the puzzle. Other hybrid offerings in the next few years will likely comprise a replacement for the hybrid Civic, a hybrid coupe (the Cr-Z), and a hybrid version of the Fit in a year or two. And according to Autoweek, it may be a while before we see a hybrid Honda Pilot or hybrid Odyssey. The best hybrid cars are yet to come.

Eco amiable Cars

Eco cordial cars are becoming more popular. There are several ways that a car can be this ecologically friendly. Fuel efficiency is a favorite one. Some are man-made and shipped in ways that are environmentally sound.

There are three types of eco or earth cordial cars. They are also called "green" cars.

Eco Car Honda

The biodiesel vehicle uses fuel that is made from a blend of vegetable oil and diesel fuel. This type of fuel can be used on any vehicle that takes diesel fuel to run. There are no tool conversions to use biodiesel.

Eco amiable Cars

Ethanol-based fuel is made from barley, corn or wheat. The most common ethanol is called E85 which is fifteen percent gasoline and 85 percent ethanol.

This type of fuel reduces emissions and is less expensive.

Below are cars that use ethanol:

Chevy Impala, Silverado and Suburban
Chrysler Sebring
Dodge Durango and Ram
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Nissan Armada and Titan
Saturn Relay
Toyota Sequoia and Tundra

New models are arrival out often. Ask your dealership what models they have available that are Ethanol Flexible Fuel Vehicles.

Hybrids are among the most favorite of the earth-friendly vehicles. They incorporate gasoline with an galvanic engine. The put off less pollution than a approved car. Hybrids capture vigor why the car stops or breaks. The galvanic machine controls this aspect which makes it very effective while driving in the city. The vigor is stored in batteries and is used as fuel. Hybrids are ordinarily quieter than most approved cars. You don't have to find a special installation to fuel them. Some states offer the use of the carpool lanes if you drive one.

Below are the top-rated hybrid models:

Ford Fusion
Honda Civic
Lexus Gs450h
Nissan Altima
Toyota Camry
Toyota Prius
Below are the top non-hybrid models:
Honda Civic Gx Ngv
Mini Cooper
Smart Fortwo
Toyota Yaris

There are federal and state tax incentives that helps to subsidize the greater fastener price of most "green" cars. But the top-rated vehicles may take five years or longer to pay for themselves with their fuel efficiency. This is good if you plan to keep the vehicle beyond this point.
